Work Experience

Lead Game Designer

June 2024 - November 2024

Forest Whisperers

The most active phase of my journey was working in a team of 20 people. My main responsibility was developing the manager’s initial three-sentence description of the project into a full-fledged Game Design Document (GDD) of 57 pages written entirely from scratch. In addition, I helped coordinate the project, assign tasks, and manage testing. I organized weekly meetings, participated almost daily in leadership syncs, and contributed to forming and maintaining the overall vision of the game. I was one of three managers, involved in business meetings and assisting with marketing, revenue planning, and the future distribution of payment. I also selected voice actors, and even replaced the lead manager during his month-long absence for personal reasons. The team placed full trust in me, and I grew alongside many of the developers. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, the manager could not continue leading the project, and since it was a RevShare-based hobby initiative, many decided to step away from development. It was through this experience that I realized how much I love this field and that I am ready to dedicate my life to teamwork and game design.

Unity / Unreal EngineGame Developer

April 2023 - October 2024

Freelance / Aurora Studios

After the events of 2022 in Ukraine, I dedicated all my free time to developing programming skills, especially in game development. This included working on commissioned projects, designing games and bringing them to life — both solo and in collaboration with artists. In this period, I released my first published game, My Name is Smiley, on Google Play Market — a story-driven top-down shooter. Thanks to the skills I gained, in 2024 I was admitted on a full scholarship to Warsaw University of Technology.

Unity Game Developer

July 2018 - December 2020

Red Wood Systems

Member of a small hobby indie game studio of six people. I began my journey in game development at the age of 13, initially dreaming of becoming a programmer. However, as I delved deeper into game design theory, my focus naturally shifted toward it. Most of my experience comes from developing small mobile games as well as systems for personal use and automation. Additionally, we created and managed game servers with unique themes, developing them and maintaining active communities around them.

Education

Bachelor Degree

October 2024 - Present

Warsaw University of Technology

Currently pursuing a degree in Applied Computer Science at Warsaw University of Technology, one of Poland’s leading technical universities. My studies focus on advanced software development, algorithms, data structures, and applied programming techniques. This program strengthens my problem-solving abilities, systems thinking, and technical expertise, which I actively apply in game design projects and development of interactive systems.

Gymnasium

September 2022 - July 2024

Ivan Zakmardi Dijankovecki Gymnasium

Graduated from the Ivan Zakmardi Dijančević Gymnasium in Križevci, Croatia, a school known for its strong focus on mathematics and sciences. During my time there, I developed solid analytical and problem-solving skills, which now form the foundation of my approach to game design and development.

Programming Courses / Marketing Courses

May 2021 - February 2022

IT Academy STEP

Studied at IT Academy Step in Mariupol, where I got hands-on experience in Programming and Marketing. This gave me a solid foundation in building projects, understanding software workflows, and thinking strategically about audiences - skills I now bring into game design and development.
